Versatile high temperature HeatPad™ micro heater is available in multiple configurations. Rapid heated area up to 1200°C (measured at internal thermocouple) available in 1, 2, 3, and 3.5 inch sizes (heated area). Maximum plate surface temperature 1000°C. Non-reactive ceramic pockets allow for inserting, hanging, and positioning your HeatPad™ virtually anywhere. Low heater profile excellent for applications involving localized heating, substrate heating, vacuum environments and high pressure environments. Several thermal and acid resistant accessories also available.

Monitor Heatpad surface temperature so that surface temperature measured by a pyrometer (set with ceramic emissivity) does not exceed rated temperature of HeatPad.  Rated temperature is given in installation manual.  The current draw may be far lesser than the max amps when not in free radiating condition of use.

Thermal shock resistant, high density NanoFractalAlumina™ translucent setter plates and crucibles (sold separately).  For Alumina boats and crucibles visit www.buyrefractory.comPlacing a NanoFractalAlumina™ object or other objects on the Heatpad™ will generally reduce the current input required to obtain a particular surface temperature of the HeatPad™.   Excees current input can burn out the HeatPad™.  Please use feedback controls if available or monitor surface temperature of the Heatpad™ to ensure that the maximum temperature is not exceeded.
